J.M.DESIGNS

Hi I'm Jonathan Matthews. From an early age I loved making things and doing woodwork in my Dad's garage. At 16 I trained in Furniture Making and Design at Rycotewood College, Thame, Oxfordshire, between 1990/94.  After training I worked for Viscount Linley in Cheltenham for a year. Then I moved to Weymouth, and worked for a local cabinet maker gaining more experience and working up to run the workshop.

In 2001 I started my own firm, J.M.Designs, in a workshop outside Dorchester, and am still at the same address today.
